Before the Transformation

Before implementing an integrated ERP, Sipradi’s rapidly growing operations were held back by disconnected systems, manual processes, and zero real-time visibility across the organization.

Island Systems Everywhere

The company ran multiple off-the-shelf and custom-made applications across departments; separate systems for finance, sales, service, spare parts, HR, and warehouse. None of these systems communicated with each other.

Finance Always a Day Behind

Operational data from sales, service, and parts was only transferred to finance after the day’s operations were complete. The accounting team would start their work the next morning; always running on yesterday’s numbers.

No Real-Time Visibility

Management had zero real-time visibility into inventory levels, service bay utilization, parts movement, or financial performance. Decisions were based on gut feeling and delayed reports.

Service Management in the Dark

Service advisors had no visibility into parts availability, labor capacity, or service history. Workshop scheduling was manual. Warranty tracking was done in spreadsheets.

Spare Parts Chaos

No SKU-level tracking, no replenishment planning, no classification system. Parts were scattered across locations with no systematic bin management. Overstocking and stockouts were everyday problems.

People-Driven, Not System-Driven

Business processes depended entirely on individuals. When a key person was absent, the process would stall. No SOPs were enforced by any system - everything relied on tribal knowledge and personal discipline.

Scalability Wall

As Sipradi grew from a few offices to 36+ locations, the patchwork of disconnected systems simply couldn’t scale. Each new location meant more complexity, more manual work, more errors.

No Control Framework

Approval workflows, credit limits, discount controls, and inventory thresholds were all managed manually. There was no system-enforced control mechanism to prevent unauthorized actions or exceptions.

Reporting Nightmare

Generating a consolidated report across all locations took days of manual effort. By the time the report was ready, the data was already outdated. No dashboards, no analytics, no data-driven culture.

From Chaos to Control

A side-by-side look at how Agile Automotive 365 on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central transformed every aspect of Sipradi’s operations.

Before

6+ disconnected systems with no integration
Finance team worked on yesterday’s data - always a day behind
Manual VIN tracking in spreadsheets
No visibility into parts stock across 300+ outlets
Service scheduling done on whiteboards and phone calls
Warranty tracking in Excel - manual claim process with Tata Motors
Business processes depended on individuals, not systems
Reports took days to compile - always outdated
No approval workflows - manual discount and credit controls
Each new branch added more complexity and manual overhead

After

Single unified platform - sales, service, parts, warehouse, finance, HR all integrated
Real-time financial posting - every transaction auto-posts to GL, AR, AP instantly
Systematic VIN management with vehicle cards and allocation tracking
Complete SKU-level visibility across all locations with barcode tracking
Visual service scheduler with bay, resource, and time allocation
Automated warranty register, approval workflow, and OEM claim settlement
SOPs enforced by the system - process runs regardless of who operates it
Interactive Power BI dashboards with real-time data at every level
System-enforced approval workflows, credit limits, and discount controls
New branches onboarded in days - same processes, same controls, instant scale

Measurable, Transformative, Lasting

The transformation delivered quantifiable results across every function - from finance and sales to service, spare parts, and management reporting.

Warranty process streamlined - from register to OEM claim to settlement
SKU-level spare parts visibility with barcode tracking across 300+ outlets
System-enforced SOPs, approval workflows, and control mechanisms

Subsidiary companies (Sipradi Energy, Sipradi Autoparts) also onboarded to the same platform

What Sipradi’s Leadership Says

The transformation wasn’t just a technology upgrade - it fundamentally changed how Nepal’s largest automotive company operates, decides, and grows.

“Before the ERP transformation, I used to receive operational reports that were already 2–3 days old. Today, I open my Power BI dashboard and see exactly where we stand - revenue, service throughput, inventory levels, receivables - all in real-time. The shift from people-driven to system-driven operations has been transformational. Our SOPs and control frameworks are now enforced by the system itself, not dependent on individual discipline. This is the foundation that allowed us to scale from a handful of offices to 36+ locations without losing control. Agile Solutions didn’t just implement a system - they became our long-term technology partner.”

Chief Executive Officer, Sipradi Trading Pvt. Ltd.

“The biggest pain point for our finance team was that we were always working on yesterday’s data. Sales, service, and parts operations would complete their day, and then the data would trickle into finance the next morning. We were perpetually behind. With Business Central, every transaction - whether it’s a vehicle sale in Biratnagar or a service invoice in Pokhara - posts to the general ledger in real-time. Our month-end close that used to take 10+ days now takes 3. The integrated AR/AP management and automated reconciliation have given us control we never thought possible.”

Sushil Poudel
Vice President - Finance, Sipradi Trading Pvt. Ltd.

“When we started this journey on Dynamics NAV in 2012, we knew we needed integration. But what we got was much more - a platform that grew with us. The upgrade to Business Central brought us into the modern era - cloud readiness, Power BI, Power Automate, and now even AI capabilities with Copilot. The ELVA DMS add-on combined with Agile’s automotive customizations gave us industry-specific functionality that no generic ERP could offer. Today, our 100+ concurrent users across Nepal work on one unified system. The warranty management and visual service scheduler alone saved us hundreds of man-hours per month.”
