Let’s dive deep into some features and updates:
A. Application
The new release will feature better reporting, better management of dimensions, and several improvements to the supply chain area. Now the users can use new templates for standardized settings when new records which will ensure that settings for posting, and reporting are correct so that productivity is not interrupted when people are entering data. Along with that, users are now provided with an improved user experience to keep posting setup and dimension issues from going wrong.
B. Bank and Payment Reconciliations
Another exciting update is bank and payment reconciliations. With the new upgrade, the bank ledger entries are now being filtered, so the ledger only after the expiration date of the statement is presented, which gives a good overview of the entries. The clean structure of the test report makes it friendly and easy to read.
C. Improved integration with Microsoft 365
Microsoft has always been known for its close integration of its various services with one another. Microsoft 365 is one of the most used office products throughout the world. In this wave release of Dynamics Business Central, Microsoft has improved its integration with Microsoft 365. The Business Central app for Microsoft Teams will now connect Teams to your business data, so you can quickly share details with your team, connect with your business contacts, and respond faster to inquiries. Along with that, Business Central continues to mature Excel-related features for exporting to Excel and working with the Excel add-in, making them more easily discoverable and reachable through the new Share menu.
D. Improve the integration with Microsoft Dataverse
When users select multiple records, such as hundreds of clients or contacts, Business Central creates a single function to sync each set of selected records. This reduces the load on the task scheduler that performs the most back-end tasks and makes it easier for users to stay within the limits of the line input. This new way of syncing selected record collections also considers the limitations of the Dataverse application by ensuring that collections are processed to a smaller size.
Along with all these new capabilities, Microsoft plans to expand Business Central’s availability to more countries and regions through local-led partnerships. Partners can create appropriate localization and publish it on AppSource. In line with the built-in language offerings, Dynamics 365 Business Central will be available to serve customers in 50 plus countries and regions around the world.
