Business Development Executive

Job Requirements:

  • Completed bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. An MBA  would be a plus. 
  • Proven track record of at least 3 years in B2B sales or business development. Prior experience in  the IT industry or software consulting services is highly preferred. 
  • Sound knowledge of and hands-on experience using CRM systems to manage the sales process  and pipelines is highly preferred. 
  • A creative thinker who can function independently, think strategically, and yet is a collaborative  team player. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a  clear and concise manner. 
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term client  relationships. 

Job Description:

  • Develop and execute strategies to drive business in existing markets as well as new potential ones.  Create cross-industry sales strategy to identify new emerging industries and acquire new offshore  projects. 
  • Develop and implement a scalable sales process from prospecting/demand generation to  conversion. 
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline targeting customers from Nepal as well as international  markets. 
  • Design and implement comprehensive business development plan on a strategic level that expands  company’s customer base as well as revenue. Define annual, quarterly, and monthly sales targets  in alignment with company’s objectives. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives at Enterprise, Medium-size, SMB  businesses, and Government agencies through active PR as the advocate of the company. 
  • Lead in-person client presentations to C-level executives, including information discovery sessions,  product demonstrations, and proposals (Including RFPs). 
  • Oversee sales operations from pre-sales to after-sales including engaging pre-sales team for  product demonstrations and requirement collection, development of proposals/quotations, contract  signing, and customer satisfaction survey. 
  • Leverage CRM data to construct, forecast, and manage sales activity and drive pipeline to meet  revenue targets and company goals. Also implement sales automation through CRM and other  sales development platforms. 
  • Work closely with the Leadership Team to provide input on business growth and align core revenue  strategy with overall company objectives. 
  • Facilitate the creation of necessary sales and marketing collateral such as product catalogs,  presentations, and sales pitches. Help refine the existing collaterals to strengthen our messaging  and value proposition. 
  • Work cross-functionally with the Marketing team in delivering consistent, compelling messaging for  our brands and products.
  • Proactively communicate results and adjust plans according to evolving business needs. Provide  detailed reporting of pipeline strength and key performance indicators to senior management. • Manage or coach a team of Sales personnel to develop their sales skills, including vertical market  knowledge, forecasting, prospecting, and other necessary skills, while maintaining individual  accountability to goals. 
  • Uncover ways (branding, user interface, usability, features) to enhance the market-readiness of our  products that add value to our customers.
